Christina Foisy PhD

I am an artist / researcher working with sound, collage and poetry to remember a past that will not pass, but that calls out for our attention and care. I listen deeply to stories of erasure, grief, distress and absence within public and personal accounts of coercive psychiatrization using research-creation and community engagement practices. I teach the creative process, the ethics of listening, critical community engagement workshops as well as Mad methodologies and embodied research for re-membering difficult histories towards epistemic justice.
